September 2020

A wild, windy day (yesterday). Distinctly Autumnal…

Gulls hang, tilt and veer,
Clouds, silver as gulls, sweep by.
Trees shake off colour.

Suddenly, it’s no longer Summer…

Gold glitters the ground,
the beech trees have decided
Today it’s Autumn.

Noisy crows…

Rude awakening:
raucous crow conversation;
unsought alarm call.

Beautiful, breezy days…

Sunlit trees swaying,
swirl of crows in their updraft.
Cloud wisps feathering.
