June 2015

The first silage cut. Gulls and crows forage…

Trampled battlefield.
A pied flock prowls the stubble.
Morrigan. And gulls.

Watching red squirrels….

Brief cinnamon flash,
a lithe liaison of curves:
an undulation.

Lots of cuckoos this year, doesn’t please the potential foster parents…

Cuckoo flies, hawk-like,
trailing a swarm of small birds
Buzzing angrily.

Wild, windy days, weather the crows love…

Choughs, shrieking, lift up,
sweep off in the clear current,
silk rags in the wind.
