Manifesto

When I die, I want  to be
One hundred and twenty three,
Love light surrounding me,
Great-grandchildren on my knee.
When I go, I want to go
in a blaze of love, a glow,
Calm, fulfilled and happy
And you beside me.

(I want) To live my life the way I choose,
Not afraid to dare, not afraid to lose.
To hurt no-one, do nothing bad,
To have had my wish, not to wish I had.

While I live, I want to be
Surrounded by poetry,
To have music always in the air,
and beautiful paintings everywhere.

Before I go I want to see
My children better men than me,
To see their glory in their face,
To see their World a better place.

When I die, I want to be
One hundred and eighty three,
Love light surrounding me,
Great-great-grandchildren on my knee.
When I go I want to go
in a blaze of love, a glow,
Calm, fulfilled and happy
And you beside me.You beside me.
You beside me.
