Geantraí, Goltraí

Tá m’album nua, lán-Ghaelach críochnaithe agam! Cuid 1 d’albaim dúbailte is ea é. Mar is eol daoibh, bhí trí fhoirm cheoil fadó a chuireadh gliondar ar chroíthe an lucht éisteachta, a chuireadh brón orthu agus a chuireadh faoi shuan iad: Geantraí, Goltraí agus Suantraí. Sin coincheap an albaim. Geantraí agus Goltraí a bheidh ar Chuid 1 agus Suantraí ar Chuid 2 agus is iad ainmneacha an dá chuid. Sheolaíodh Geantraí, Goltraí ar an Aoine 10ú d’Aibreáin san riverside Café, An Sciobairín! Táim an-bhuíoch do Breeda Murphy, Tim Abbott, Liam Kenneally & Murchadh Ó Colmáin as ucht páirt a bhí acu ann.

I’m (finally!) finished my new album! It consists of new songs in the Irish language and conceptually, it follows the Three Forms of Music in Ancient Ireland: Geantraí, Goltraí agus Suantraí, i.e.music that would first make the audience laugh and dance, then sad music that would bring tears and reminiscence and, finally, soothing lullabyes to calm them. It will be a double album, the first part, Geantraí, Goltraí had its official launch on Friday 10th April in The Riverside Café, Skibbereen.

Featuring the musical talents of Breeda Murphy, Tim Abbott, Liam Kenneally & Murchadh Ó Colmáin.
